Possibly the finest example out there with amazing history.
The history and mileage on the Series 2A FC is fantastic.
With just 31967 miles since it was 1st registered in 1963.
The 2A was purchased from the main dealer in 1963 and was used lightly as a farm vehicle up until about 2010.
It was then fully rebuilt with a new galvanised chassis, a fully rebuilt engine, gearbox and transfer box. All components were either replaced or fully restored. The panels were all resprayed. The seats are the original 'elephant hide' which are torn, but were not replaced as this material is no longer available. The side panels although have some age related marks these are in excellent condition.
On completion of the rebuild circa 2017 the original owner passed away and the 2A was left in storage and was handed down to his family. Here it lay until 2023 when the family have decided to sell the Land Rover.
There are original photographs pre-restoration and after. The original service books and owner docs are available along with receipts from all the refurb.
Not only does the 2A looks gorgeous it also drives like a dream.
This would make the ideal vehicle for an outdoor catering company, 'Tap Truck', or if you want your brand noticed!
