The silencers use a combination of baffles and sound deadening material to absorb or reflect the noise produced by the engine but are non-restrictive. Bespoke Exhaust solutions are available for 200TDI, 300TDI TD5s and TDCi engines and will improve both the performance and sound of your Defender.
An alternative route to take in the search for more power could be to upgrade your exhaust to a custom exhaust, built exactly to your specification for sound, power and looks.
