This is a UK model of the rare and very desirable 50th Anniversary Model - serial no 334 (one of the last produced). There were only 385 made for the UK mark and only 1071 produced worldwide.this is said to be the best Defender they made. It is the only time Land Rover produced a Defender with an automatic gearbox, and then they dropped a 4 Litre V8 in there too.
50th Anniversary Edition
The Special Edition was essentially a NAS (North American Specification) station wagon. This meant it had a generous amount of extras as standard. Special paint colour is known as Atlantis Blue and was powered by the 190 hp 4.0L V8 petrol engine, which was mated to a four-speed ZF automatic gearbox, both from the Range Rover. With only 75,000 miles from new, this is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a very desirable and collectable Limited Edition Defender with huge investment potential.
This example is true to its original condition. Bodywork is in good condition for its age.
